Hi, welcome to another fresh new article about India's successful 300+ run chase in One Day International cricket.

1. India Chased 316 vs Pakistan in 1998

In 1998 India created a history of chasing 300+ runs for the first time. After batting first Pakistan created a mountain runs total of 314. 

But batting second India had some other plans. India lost an early wicket of Tendulkar but Sourav Ganguly's 124 & Robin Singh's 82 runs gave a thrilling victory to India.

2. India Chased 302 vs South Africa in 2000

1st ODI between South Africa and India in 2000 was memorable for Ganguly and his team. South Africa made 301/7 with the century of Gary Kristen & Herschelle Gibbs. 

Then India chased that score with 2 balls left. Ajay Jadeja played a very good knock of 92 runs. All other Indian players contributed their best for their team.

3. India Chased 326 vs England in 2002

I think this match remembered everyone because it was the Mohammad Kaif show on the field & Ganguly's show off the field. In the final match against England at Lords, England made 325/5. 

While chasing 326 India got a better start by Ganguly and Sehwag. But the middle order was completely broken by England bowlers.

But again Mohammad Kaif & Yuvraj Singh built the innings. And lastly, India won the match with 3 balls innings.

4. India Chased 325 vs West Indies in 2002

Batting first, West Indies made a huge total 324/4 with the massive innings of Chris Gayle 140 runs. In reply, India owns that extraordinary match by 5 wickets. 

Rahul Dravid played an inning of 109 of 124 balls. And Mr. Bangar contributed 57 runs with 5 fours and 2 sixes.

5. India Chased 317 vs England in 2007

6th ODI match it was, between India & England. England made 316/6 & in reply, India completed the run chase with 2 deliveries remaining. Tendulkar & Sourav gave a better opening start & India scored 317/8.

6. India Chased 309 vs Sri Lanka in 2008

In the Asia cup, in 2008 Srilanka made a huge total of 308 against India. Sri Lanka's middle-order was played extraordinary on that day. Then India completed the total very easily with 6 wickets in hand. Gambhir, Raina, Dhoni & all other players batted beautifully.

7. India Chased 300 vs Pakistan in 2008

It was another match in Asia Cup 2008. Pakistan made 299/4 at Karachi with Shoaib Malik's 125 runs in 119 balls. Then India lost the early wicket of Gambhir. But Sehwag & Suresh Raina made 198 runs partnership. India comfortably completed the run chase with 47 deliveries remaining.

8. India Chased 316 vs Sri Lanka in 2009

Srilanka came to India in 2009 for the ODI series. Srilanka made a huge total of 315 for 6. In reply, Goutam Gambhir & Virat Kohli made 150 & 107. Team India won the match at Kolkata with 11 balls remaining.

9. India Chased 316 vs New Zealand in 2010   

New Zealand came to India for the ODI series and Goutam Gambhir was appointed as skipper, New Zealand made 315/7. 

In reply, India's top order broke down but Yusuf Pathan had some other plans on that day. He scored 123 of 96 balls with 7 fours and 7 sixes. India reached the total with 7 balls remaining.

10. India Chased 330 vs Pakistan in 2012

Asia cup 2012 at Dhaka, Pakistan made 329/6  on the scoreboard with the innings of Hafeez & Nashir Jamshed. Then young Kohli showed his class & temperament with his bat. He scored his carrier highest 183 with 22 fours and 1 six. India won the match with 13 balls remaining.

11. India Chased 321 vs Sri Lanka in 2012

India Chased 321 runs against Srilanka at Hobart. Srilanka's batsmen Dilshan & Sangakkara scored a century and made 320 runs for their team. 

In the 2nd innings, India didn't get a good start. Middle-order batsman Kohli made 133 off 86 & India reached the total with 80 balls remaining.

12. India Chased 360 vs Australia in 2013

India chased a total of 360 with 9 wickets remaining. That was quite unbelievable at that moment. Batting first, Australia made 359/5. In reply India's top 3 batsmen Rohit, Sikhar & Virat made 141, 95, and 100 each.

13. India Chased 351 vs Australia in 2013

It was the 6TH ODI match between Aussie & Hindustan. A much-needed win for India but Aussie players set a high total of 350 runs with the help of Gorge Bailey & Shane Watson's century.

Once again Rohit & Dhawan gave a good start for India. They made 178 runs partnership for the first wicket. After that Kohli made 115 & chased the runs with 6 wickets in hand.

14. India Chased 331 vs Australia in 2016

At Sydney cricket ground Australia made 330/7. In a ground like Sydney, the run was quite unchangeable. The Indian top-order gave a good start but didn't finish the match. But there was young Manish Pandey who made 104 of 81 deliveries & turn the game away from Australi

15. India Chased 351 vs England in 2017

England vs India 1st ODI was a high-scoring match at Pune. England made 350 runs in 50 overs. After that India's openers failed to gave a good start. 

Then skipper Kohli showed his class & quality with 122 runs in 105 balls. Still, Dhoni & Yuvraj out on 6 & 15. After that Kedar Yadav made 120 in 76 balls with 12 fours and 4 sixes. India reached the total with 11 balls remaining.

16. India Chased 323 vs West Indies in 2018

After winning the toss India bowled first & West Indies made 322 runs. In reply, India lost the early wicket of Shikhar Dhawan. Then Rohit & Kohli made 246 runs partnership & India chased the total very easily with 8 wickets in hand.

17. India Chased 316 vs West Indies in 2019

It was another easy win for India against West Indies. West Indies made 315/6 & in reply, India chased the total when 8 deliveries remaining. Rohit, Rahul & Kohli made 63, 77 & 85 each.
