His highest individual contribution was 89* vs WI in the semis. But India failed to get the victory over the Caribbean.

AB de Villiers (2007-16)

De Villiers's final strike rate in the T20 world cup was 143.00. Most run-scorer by a South African batsman in world T-20.

He scored 717 runs in 25 innings & he hit 5 half-centuries. He was great for South Africa but unfortunately didn't lift any trophy.

His carrier highest was 79* in the ICC T20 tournament. One year after the 2016 world T20 he decided to goodbye to international cricket.

RG Sharma (2007-16)

Rohit played most T20 international matches as an Indian player and he scored 4 tons in this particular format.

KC Sangakkara (2007-14)

BB McCullum (2007-14)

His highest individual score was 123 against the Bangla Tigers in the 2012 world T20.

Yuvraj Singh (2007-16)

He scored 593 runs in 28 world cup innings and hit 5 50s. He also hit the fastest T20 international 50 ever in T20I.

KP Pietersen (2007-10)

In our list, Petersen played most few innings among all the cricketers. He played only 15 innings and scored 580 runs, where his batting average was 44+.

JP Duminy (2007-16)

Duminy scored 568 runs in 23 innings and he put some great all-rounding performance in international cricket.

He has 2 half-centuries in the shortest format's world cup cricket. He was retired from international cricket in 2019.

Shakib AL Hasan (2007-16)

Shakib is the current slot player who is playing some outstanding cricket.  He is just 1 run short of JP Duminy.
