Since the first t20 world cup played in 2007. There are lots of players who hit a century in world cup T20 history. But there are only 7 players who scored a century on the big stage like the T20 world cup.

So, let's see which players hold these records and what other records they achieved in the T20 cricket.

All Centuries in ICC World T20 History

1. Chris Gayle (West Indies)

When it comes to T20 records this man is always on the top. The universe boss Chris Gayle is the only cricketer to hit two centuries in the world cup t20.

The first player to smash a clever ton in the first edition of the T20 world cup. In that match, he scored 117 in just 57 balls against South Africa. But West Indies lost that match,

After 9 years down the line, Gayle storm roars again in the 2016 world T20 in India. Where he scored a brilliant 100 not out against England.

Gayle's knock against England was the fastest t20 world cup century ever.

2. Alex Hales (England)

Alex Hales played 60 t20i matches for England. He is the only British cricketer to score an international century in the T20 world cup tournament.

In 2014 WT20 against Srilanka he scored 116 not out. However, it was his only century in t20 international.

He played in 2 world cup t20 tournaments in 2014 and 2016. After 2019 due to some personal issue he was dropped from England cricket board.
